At Ashtanga Yoga Boston, we are interested in providing a solid foundation for every student’s practice. We are particularly interested in helping beginners start and establish a daily routine. To that end, we periodically offer workshops based on the fundamentals of Ashtanga yoga which include the breath, bandhas (core locks) and drishti (gazing point).
Next Introduction to Ashtanga Workshop: April 1–2, 2017
Please check back — details and enrollment information will be posted here shortly.
Twice a year — in the spring and in the fall — we offer a weekend “Intro to Ashtanga” workshop for beginning students, which usually includes a month of classes at the school. While this workshop is geared for beginners, experienced practitioners—including those returning to the practice after time off—can also benefit from a deeper exploration of the fundamentals.
Please contact us for more information on our next Intro workshop.
